There is so often now gunfeed when shooting at people. Just like they don't care that you shoot at them, but they kept shooting at you. Yup, this. You'll shoot an enemy strafing in front of you and with each hit he'll act like he slipped on a banana peel and will move out of your crosshairs in almost a comedic way.

This is a compilation of tweaks and fixes from the community. Turn vsync off in display settings to unlock the fps. Disable fullscreen optimizations on main exe file to unlock refresh rate (Steam>steamapps>common>Mafia Definitive Edition>mafiadefinitiveedition.exe). (sry for my english) You can't do it on steam, in the internet you can find classic and better old Mafia 2 for about 5 bucks. I wanted to buy Mafia 2 too because i pleayed this game 9 years ago and Now I can't find the disc. On steam you can only buy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ remake or defenitive edition and get classic "for free"
Once Mafia II: Definitive Edition is done downloading, right-click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Mafia.II.Definitive.Edition.zip” (To do this you must have WinRAR, which you can get here). Double click inside the Mafia II: Definitive Edition folder and run the exe application. Have fun and play! Make sure to run the game as an Mafia: DE and Mafia III both act up like that on Linux (and things are even out of whack visually a bit to) for me on Wine if I run the game through stock Wine. but once I run the games through Lutris paired with GloriousEggroll runner for Lutris, the game works as expected. kfs5v.
